One Of The First Cases Of Cerebral Hemorrhage In The State
Of the Penobscot Weekly
CORINNA, MAINE
In the past month Scott Gooberhagan found out that he had cerebral hemorrhage one of the first cases in the state. The doctors at EMMC (Eastern Maine Medical Center) Where not sure on how to deal with this medical problem so they flew in a Neurosurgeon that specialize in cerebral hemorrhage Dr. Amanda Hooperkaglon. With in a couple days she had performed a surgery in hope that it will take care of the cerebral hemorrhage. About a week after the surgery Scott had not gotten any better. Dr. Hooperkaglon was shocked to see that the hemorrhage was back and worse than before. “ I have never seen any thing like this in the 15 years of specializing in cerebral hemorrhage.” she says
With in a couple of hours after finding out that the cerebral hemorrhage was back, Dr. Hooperkaglon and the others at EMMC had called Dr. Walter Buckingham a specialists from great Britain, to see if he would come and Help find something that will take care of the cerebral hemorrhage for ever. Himself and all the other doctors that are caring for Scott, deiced that they would preformed another surgery and give a number of medications. After checking Scott's medical records the found out that he could be allergic to so of the medication that they wanted to give him so they decided to give him the medication other than the anticonvulsant that he could be allergic to. So after giving Scott another surgery and loading him with medication they finally toke care of this offal medical problem once and for all. Now Scott is at home almost fully recovered.

canping one 4 blog
I raced out of the house pulling the old door behind me, trying to get
in the car as fast as I could. As my mother drove, I was reading and
fidgeting in my seat waiting to get to Katahdin Ironworks. When we
got there I jumped out of the car and raced to see my family as they
were sitting by the fire cooking hotdogs for lunch.
As we were driving up to the spot where we park near Henderson Bog,
you could see the big hills buried behind the trees. When we got off
the wooden path, you could tell it was the perfect time of day to
fish. The air was right, the sun was right and the water was not too
hot nor too cold. The sun was glistening off the water, like the sun
would shine through a stain glass window on a summer day. It was all
perfect. For about an hour we fished at Henderson, then we hiked up
to the falls.
When we got back to camp, it was almost 4:45. Within 15 minutes Spencer,
Sam and I wanted to go fishing in the river near the camp, so Robyn,
Bobby, Grampie, and my dad took all of us while the rest of the
family sat at camp cooking supper. When we got back, supper was all
ready. We ate the fish that we caught that day. Man, was that trout
good, like I should know; I did not eat it. I ate a ham and cheese
sandwich.
After dinner was through and we cleaned up. My aunt Cece said, “You
kids want to go do sparklers?”
We were so bored. “Sure, we have nothing else to do,” we
exclaimed as we were getting out of our chairs.
My
Aunt and Uncle would not let us sit by the fire until all the
sparklers were all gone. So we decided to make our own fire in the
middle of the road. We had a problem though, what were we going to
do for wood? Then I saw an old oak tree that might fall down any
second now.“What about taking some from that tree over there?”
I told Spencer and Sam.
“That
would work perfectly,” said Spencer as he walked over to the
tree to get some rotten pieces. Within the hour we had a nice fire
going of our own, but we had only used 3 sparklers with about 50
more to go. We finished them off within 2 hours.
“I
want to go to bed,” I whined as it was reaching 10 o'clock
“Then
go to bed and stop your complaining,” My aunts and Uncles told
me. You could tell the adults were getting tired of hearing us kids
whine. I went to bed in my nice, warm sleeping bag. NOT!!! It was
freezing cold like the air inside and outside of the tent . I climbed
in anyway. As soon as I put my head on the pillow I was out for the
night.
The next morning my grandparents were up nice and early like they are
every morning. When I woke I could smell the coffee that Nana was
brewing for everyone. I got out of the tent in my pj's, a short
sleeve shirt and shorts. The air was chilly. When I realized my
cousins were not out of bed, I went over and shook the tent that they
were sleeping in.“Get up and get some coffee you guys, or it
will be all gone by the time you get your butts up and out of bed!”
I yelled.
“Uhhhhhhhhhhh,”
they moaned. Within a half an hour they were up and ready to go
fishing.
“Grampie,
when can we go fishing? I know this really great spot near the
mountains,” Spencer said enticingly.
“
In a half an hour. We need to clean up the campsite first. You know
that,” he reminded.
“I
know, but today is the last day we're here to fish,” whined
Spencer.
Like
Grampie said we left in half an hour to go to this spot Spencer had
told us about. The one thing he did not tell us was that we had to go
off roading. They really stunk considering Rob was driving which is
never a good thing. When we got to where we wanted to be, I jumped
out of the truck bed and brushed the leaves and twigs out of my
hair.“Thanks for showing us this spot,” I told Spencer
as I was getting my fishing pole out of the truck.
"YOU
ARE WELCOME!” he said sarcastically.
“Once
again, thank you, NOT!” I yelled at him.
“Oh,
don't worry. there is about a 15 minute walk to get there,” he
exclaimed.
“
Ha ha very funny” I told him.
“No,
I am serious,” he told me.
"Great,”
I whined. As I was walking my foot got stuck in between a rock and a
tree. Spencer stopped to help me.
"Thanks
for stopping and not leaving me behind," I said sincerely.
"That's what cousins are for,” he told me as he was
working on getting my foot free. As soon as we got down there my Aunt
Cece told us that she need to go back to the camp and gat her suit
case, and asked me to come with her. When we got to the camp there
it was her suit case right next to the table. By the time we got back
to the fishing spot thet Spencer showed us. Everyone was waiting for
us by Robs truck.
As
we drove off leaving the beautiful woods behind us I thought,
Although our camping trips always come to an end. We always have
a great time while we're there. Most things are pretty predictable
but sometimes things can remind us how nice it is to have people
around that love and help us. Our family camping trips are always
something to look forward to, enjoy and remember. They bring us
closer and get us through the good and bad times in life.
